Who is this for?

This masterclass will help you develop and strengthen your voice when creating a new project or revisiting a previous idea, whether small or large. Aimed at all roles, grades and levels across health and social care teams, this masterclass will equip members of the health and social care workforce with the evidence, knowledge, skills and tools to demonstrate the impact of their work on patients, service users, outcomes, efficiency and quality. You will also learn more about how to define, measure and communicate value to inform decision-making, drive improvement and develop strong business cases.

What will you discover?

Purpose:

This masterclass will equip you with the evidence, knowledge, skills and tools to demonstrate the impact of your work on patients and service users. It will also look at understanding outcomes, efficiency and quality. 

Understand more about how to define, measure and communicate value to inform decision-making, drive improvement and develop strong business cases. 

Outcomes:

  • Apply key health and social care models to understand and evidence how value is created and demonstrated, regardless of role or experience.  
  • Analyse different sources of facts and information to explore how services make a positive difference to patients, service users and organisations.  
  • Evaluate and explore risks, improvements and sustainability options by using tools such as PDSA cycles, basic risk assessments and change-management approaches to decision-making. 
  • Create a clear and structured business case which focuses on the value of supporting decision-making across the health and social care workforce. 

CPD hours

  • 5.5 hours of CPD

  • This virtual masterclass is facilitated over the course of 1 day, from 9am to 4pm (approximately).
  • 30 June 2026.
  • 6 October 2026.

What is the cost?

  • £200 + VAT per person
  • You can self-fund a place, your employer can fund your place(s) or commission a cohort of 15 participants.
