Workplace Incivility Masterclass

Bullying, harassment, and incivility involving NHS staff could be costing the health service around 拢2.3 billion a year, according to a study published in the journal .
A poll carried out by the found that most staff that experienced workplace incivility lost work time worrying about the incident and avoiding the offender and their commitment to the organisation declined, with as many as 12% leaving their job because of the uncivil treatment. Two thirds said their performance declined and almost half intentionally decreased their work effort and the time spent at work. 25% admitted to taking their frustrations out on customers.
Our one-day masterclass has been designed to support staff to learn more about workplace incivility, it鈥檚 impact and ways to address it. With these tools, your staff can foster a more inclusive workplace culture to improve service delivery and patient experience.
The masterclass supports you and your team to:
- Explore the collective experiences of workplace incivility and the impact it has on the team, the workforce and service delivery,
- Learn the tools for addressing incidents of incivility they witness or experience in the workplace, and;
- Practice using the tools in real world scenarios in our Learning Lab.
Cost
Cohort booking for an organisation
拢3,500 plus VAT flat fee
Minimum participants 10 and maximum participants 25
Cohort bookings for individuals
拢200 plus VAT for RCN members
拢300 plus VAT for non-RCN member
These prices are for online delivery only. We can deliver in-person for organisation bookings but there will be an additional cost to cover the travel and related expenses for the facilitators and actors depending on the location.
