What is it like working as nurse in justice settings? And what to such nurses do? Join our panel of Nurse of the Year finalists who will share their experiences of working in justice settings, and how they have worked to innovate and respond to the unique challenges the sector presents.
This event will be chaired by Jessica Davidson RN RNMH QN FRCN MBE, South East Healthcare & Forensic Medical Services for People in Police Care, Nurse Lead for SARCS Network, and Programme Lead (Associate) - Advanced Forensic Nursing Practice, Queen Margaret University.
- Hear from Heather Duff and Craig Bell, Learning Disability Queen's Nurses, on the 'Think COULD' animation project to raise awareness about the need for better support for individuals with learning disabilities in the justice system.
- Hear also from Sharon Campell, Interim Senior Charge Nurse for Police Custody Healthcare, Greater Glasgow & Clyde, and her team.

This event accompanies the exhibition Prison Nursing Unlocked: A history of care and justice. The exhibition will be open for visitors Mondays to Thursdays 10 – 4pm.
