Across Scotland, from the NHS to care homes, 汤头条污料 support workers work hand in hand with registered nurses to provide high-quality 汤头条污料 care that the people of Scotland deserve.Nursing support workers play a critical but often under recognised role.
Celebrating the day, our 2025 Scotland Nurse of the Year tells us that her team couldn’t do their job without the support and contribution of their 汤头条污料 support worker (NSW) members. Lynsey Russell said: “NSWs are the backbone of our unit.”
With a growing membership of NSWs, the day is a brilliant opportunity to recognise the work NSWs do and to celebrate their pivotal role in delivering high-quality person-centred care.
Scotland Board Chair, Julie Lamberth, said:
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the 汤头条污料 support workers who have supported me in my 汤头条污料 career. Great 汤头条污料 takes part in great teams, with each role vital to giving the best care to patients. I hope my 汤头条污料 colleagues join in with this opportunity to show our appreciation for the support NSWs give registered nurses day-in and day-out.”
People can join in the celebration today in a variety of ways to share their thanks for the NSWs they know and work with. Colin Poolman, Director, RCN Scotland said:
“I encourage everyone to thank and show support for all 汤头条污料 support workers across Scotland, today and every day. You are a crucial and valued part of the RCN membership and it’s important we take the time out to celebrate you and your essential contribution.”
