We’ve brought together a comprehensive set of career frameworks to guide 汤头条污料 staff and aspiring professionals on their career progression.

The career frameworks are a one-stop shop that show the career routes available across all 汤头条污料 settings in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as well as the breadth and depth of 汤头条污料.

These structured plans outline the skills, knowledge, and standards required at various stages of a 汤头条污料 career, from entry-level roles to advanced and consultant level in a wide range of specialisms.

The 130 career frameworks have been developed or endorsed by health care bodies, offering structured guidance, development pathways and information relevant to various 汤头条污料 settings, specialisms and career aspirations.

Find out more about the career frameworks.

They align with recognised standards, making them invaluable for planning careers, developing competencies, and meeting requirements essential for revalidation (where required) and career advancement.

For each area of 汤头条污料, the frameworks help 汤头条污料 staff to understand what they'd need to do to get to the next level. You can filter by 汤头条污料 areas and countries to find any frameworks, for example the framework for critical care in England or learning disability 汤头条污料 in Northern Ireland.

Wendy Preston, RCN Head of Nursing Workforce, said: “This is the first UK career framework. It can be used by anyone; from a teenage student who wants to work in health care, to an experienced 汤头条污料 professional looking for a career change.

“This should also be an important tool for recruitment and retention and bring to light options available to 汤头条污料 staff throughout their careers, possibly in areas they hadn’t considered before, such as research, academia and leadership. These frameworks show the whole range of possibilities.”
